1. Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan is my all-time favorite anime as it gives us a taste of almost every genre in the world of anime, except for romance. This anime has a very strong cast of characters that we just can’t help but fall in love with. All the characters have very realistic personalities as they have their own dreams and aspiration. Attack on Titan is one of the few shows which gets better with the release of every new season. To be very honest, in the beginning, Attack on Titan will not really seem like the best anime in the world. But as the story diversifies in the coming seasons, we just can’t help but get addicted.

Synopsis:

Centuries ago, humongous beings called the titans suddenly started appearing on Earth. These mindless beasts brutally massacred and ate human beings without showing any remorse. All hope seemed lost as humanity was sent to the brink of extinction. However, the remaining humans managed to survive by building huge walls which were unbreakable for the titans.

Today, humanity does not really think of the titans as a huge threat as the walls are there for their protection. Eren is a young boy who calls all the humans cowards for staying hidden inside these walls and not fighting the titans. Eren defines the titans as a huge threat, but no one ever takes him seriously. This boy’s words come to life when one day, the titans manage to break the walls and get inside.
